Spring Semester Information

Posted by Bethany Watt in News on December 17, 2008.

Congratulations on a great fall semester!  I look forward to working with each of you again in the Spring.  Violin lessons will resume the week of January 5th.  Payment will remain the same for Spring Semester.  I will send out a reminder the week before lessons begin.  All lesson times will remain the same for the Spring Semester, unless I have spoken to you individually and we have changed your lesson time.

Group classes will see some changes this semester.  First, with the growing demands for space at Centenary, it has become necessary to find a new location for our group classes and recitals.  We will meet, beginning in January, at St. Luke United Methodist Church on Alumni Drive.  They have graciously agreed to let us use their fellowship hall for group classes and their sanctuary for our recital.  Second, due to the changing dynamics of the group classes, we will be trying a new format this semester.  The new format will be as follows:

9-9:30am Early Readers
9:30-10:30am Group class for ALL students
10:30-11am Reading Ensemble

I realize that for a few of you, the new format and new location will make group difficult to attend.  There are only 6 group classes, so I ask that you be flexible and attend as much of the class as possible.  If you need to arrange to slip out early, please speak to me in your lesson or send me an email.
As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
