My goal as a teacher is to help make music a special part of each of my students' lives. Students need to learn and perfect the notes and rhythms, but they also must discover what music and performance means to each of them. Whether violin becomes a hobby or an educational and/or career goal for the students that I teach, I hope to prepare them technically, musically, and personally to achieve much as a result of violin instruction.
