Group lessons: Spring 2022

Group classes are an integral part of Suzuki instruction; therefore, group classes are REQUIRED unless you are in school orchestra. Advanced students may be exempted from this requirement by permission of the teacher. If you are not in a performing group but are in at least book 3 and in middle school, please speak to me if you want to be considered for exemption from group class. Group Classes are highly suggested for all students who are in books 1 and 2, even if they are in school orchestra. I expect ALL STUDENTS in books 1 and 2 to attend group class unless other arrangements have been made with the instructor. Please contact me about extenuating circumstances or schedule conflicts.

ADVANCED STUDENTS ARE EXCUSED FROM GROUP, BUT MAY BE ASKED TO ATTEND SPECIFIC EVENTS.

PAYMENT: Payment for Group Class is due at the first Group Class of the semester.

The group fee for this semester is $40. Please make payment online using PayPal. There is a link available at www.wattviolin.com. Payment is not due until March 5.

SCHEDULES/LOCATION: PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUP CLASSES HAVE SHIFTED TO MARCH-MAY. THIS IS IN AN ATTEMPT TO BE ABLE TO MEERT IN-PERSON ONCE THE CURRENT COVID WAVE HAS PASSED.

Group classes will meet on the following Saturdays: March 5, March 19, April 9, April 30, May 14. Classes will either meet outside at the studio or in the Loft at St Luke UMC.
